Solar Film for Sir Thomas Finney High
Solar Film is an excellent addition to any glazing- new or old. Existing glazing can be brought up to modern standards, and the performance of new modern glazing can be improved yet further, simply by installing a window film. It is a modern and highly effective solution to heat or glare issues.
Solar Film is especially popular in new builds in the education sector. It has all the advantages of traditional solutions such as blinds, with none of the drawbacks, at a much reduced cost. It was for these reasons that Solar Film was specified by Lancashire County Council for the new build of Sir Thomas Finney High School in Preston, Lancashire.
Solar Window Film
As one of the UK’s foremost providers of window film solutions, ARC Window Films were approached for assistance in the specification, supply, and installation of a solar film for the project. Following consultation with the council, and the project contractor, a product was agreed and installed throughout the school.
The solar film was quick and non-disruptive to install, and will reduce glare, reduce heat, and offer privacy to pupils and teachers.
By upgrading the specification from blinds to solar window film the school saved £000s from the initial build costs, and will continue to save due to the lack of ongoing cleaning or maintenance cots with window film.
